My name is Frank, and I live in Uganda..For as long as i can remember, I’ve had a deep love for animals especially dogs. Growing up, I saw far too many of them suffering on the streets: malnourished, sick, abused, or abandoned. What broke my heart most was seeing puppies huddled in ditches or under scrap metal during the rainy season, cold and scared, with no one to care for them. One day, I found a mother dog trying to keep her puppies warm in a flooded drain. I couldn’t walk away. I took them home,gave them food, and made them a small shelter from leftover wood and tarps. That was the beginning of my rescue journey..Since then, I’ve been doing all I can using my own limited resources to rescue and care for abandoned dogs. I feed them, treat wounds when I can, and try to find them safe homes. But the need has grown beyond what I can handle alone. That’s why I’m raising funds now. I need your support to: Buy dog food and clean water to feed the growing number of rescues. Afford medication and basic veterinary care, many dogs i do rescue come with injuries or infections. My name is Sserunjogi shafic and I am creating this fundraiser for Shafic at Rescue Uganda. I partnered with Shafic in May 2025 in total currently have 35 dogs and 20 cats that they take care of in their village. Dogs are treated like pests in their country and often times people are fearful of them and want to get rid of them. Local officials and village chairman often go about leaving poison food out on the streets (the same way that people put out rat poison) in the hopes that it will eliminate them. Shafic is a huge dog lover, and wants all of the dogs in his village to be safe and able to live happy, healthy lives. He saves as many as he can and takes them into the little shelter that he has constructed. He vaccinates them, treats them for fleas, worms and parasites, and feeds them. But the monthly cost of rent, utilities, food and medicines is becoming overwhelming and he needs support to continue to care for these dogs- since no one else will. In October 2023, Lena and her family fled her home and relocated to a school in Khan Younis. She was soon displaced to a tent outside the school, and then displaced again to another tent location further south. December 12, 2023 her family's home and entire neighborhood was bombed and completely destroyed. In March 2024, Lena raised enough money to evacuate to Egypt, alone. In May 2024, the Rafah Crossing was destroyed and closed, and evacuation was no longer an option. Hello my name is Hasan and my wife Hiba , I have created this fundraiser in hope to help my family which consists of my wife, my two children, Kinan, 1 and half year old, and Halla, 5 years old, and my parents along with my sister and brothers. My family have been in very difficult conditions in Gaza after the 7th of October, as we were displaced from our home 6 times. our two children left their home for the first time and moved to my family’s home, and then they moved with the family to another, less safe home. Then the army ordered us to flee to southern Gaza, so we fled to the ground, then we ended up fleeing to a small tent and sleeping on the sand. My son Kinan took his first steps in the war, said his first words in the war, we couldn’t record any of these happy memories to us, as there’s no internet or electricity, so we can barely charge our phones (BTW we charge our phones with a battery that works with sunlight) This is how we charge our phones, these batteries work with sunlight, and of course it’s not for free ( every hour costs 10$ ) Because the tent is made of naylon and it’s very hot now, so it feels like living in sauna for 24 hours, we all have sunburns, you can see my son before and during the war. I have crohns disease which is autoimmune disease in which my body attack my intestine and cause me severe pain and bloody diarrhea, before the war my medications wasn’t available in Gaza so every month I had a permission to travel to the west bank to receive my Infliximab injection which by the way very very expensive. this injection was to relieve my pain and to prevent my disease to progress to cancer. However since the start of the war i’m not taking any of my medications as there is no hospitals, no medications . I’m now in severe pain that sometimes make me cry actually, and i’m at high risk of colon cancer. I lost my source of income, i was employee in a company and my salary was ( 400$ per month, which wasn’t enough so i was also working as a photographer to be able to support my family) . I feel so bad to say this, but now i can’t feed my kids, can’t provide diapers for my son Kinan ( diapers now cost 100$) , can’t feed my kids healthy food. To make the situation worse, the period of displacement was in the winter, and the tent was and is still not safe at all when it rained, so some drops of rain would fall on us and it was not warm at all for my children. When Hala heard the sound of thunder and the sound of rain hitting the tent’s nylon, she would be terrified and would run to my arms and say that it was the sound of bombing! we suffer from the lack of a bathroom or even a shower. we can only shower once a month using a bucket due to the lack of water. The water is cold in the winter because there is no electricity or gas to heat the water. Every morning, My wife washes our children's clothes with cold water and spread the clothes out in the open. If food is found, it is cooked on firewood and it is completely unhealthy and tastes bad because of the firewood. Good Care Children Ministry initiated in 2012 with two biological twins who lost their mother during the process and had lost their father in the few months before the birth. It’s now a standing Centre with thirty two (32) Orphans. We would heart feel to help as many children as possible but we are just limited by resources and facilities. Following the past Easter season, we have recruited other three (3) children and a domestic home where drunkard parents recklessly put fire on the house. It was really sorry because the parents died and the child survived and she was admitted at Mubende referral hospital. We are looking forward to adding her to the Orphanage but we are still seeking permission from the relatives and the police. Good Care Children Ministry looks at improving the lives of the children, rehabilitating them, build hopes and courage as well as facilitating them. Feeling the life of a bandonness is what kills the spirits and discomforts them that’s why we suggested to stand with them and feel like a family. As our strategy to build them as morally religious children, we intend to start up a Church at the Centre to help them build a fundamental relationship with God.

Everything has suddenly changed after the 7th of October 2023, now our dad has struggles to perform his work well and he may lose his job at any moment, our mom has no house to take care of, we can’t go to school or college to get our education.Since the beginning of the war we have been living in intolerable levels of hardship, we have been evacuating from a place to another seeking for a shelter but in reality there is no safe shelter here. We evacuated for five times and every time danger looms closer. It is really hard to find filling food and clear water and if we find any the prices are insane, we sleep on the floor with empty stomach and terrified soul. We have lost our lovely and cozy house and neighbourhood where we used to live, laugh, sing, dream and feel safe together. All of our happy memories have been stolen from us and all we have now is a stone pile.Words are not enough to describe the pain and heartbreak that we feel after losing everything we used to love and care about without any justification. It’s really hard to see our homeland the place where we feel we belong to is being destroyed savagely. Now we are in a calamity because we have nothing and no place to settle in after the end of the war. We live with minimum life requirements, mysterious future and without any guarantees of our life. Every day, I am met with tiny cries for help from behind buildings, under market stalls, or hidden in trash piles. Some are sick. Some are starving. Some are just days old. And every day, I rescue 3 to 5 more. Right now, Im caring for over 150 cats alone. I dont have a shelter with funding. I dont have staff. What I do have is a small, crowded space, an aching heart, and a promise I made to never leave a cat behind when I have the power to help. Some of the cats I find are skinny, infected, wounded, or blind. Others are kittens dumped in bags or boxes, shivering and crying out for a mother that isnt coming back. I treat them as best as I can, feed them, and try to rebuild the trust the world has stolen from them. But as the numbers grow, so does the need. * Food is running out. * Medical care is getting more expensive. * Basic items like litter, warm bedding, flea and worm treatments are in short supply. My name is Rama, and this is my story. (click here) I am a young woman battling breast cancer in the prime of my life. I was diagnosed during the last trimester of my pregnancy. My doctor decided that I should undergo chemotherapy, assuring me that it would not harm my baby. But fate had other plans for me. I went into early labor in the eighth month, and my beautiful baby girl passed away less than 24 hours after her birth. My husband and I had named her Rama, after the love that brought us together. I couldn't hold her, fearing that my illness might affect her. I was devastated and fell into deep post-traumatic depression. I couldn't bear the pain, convinced that I was the reason for her death. I decided to stop treatment and returned to my hometown in Ga~~. Shortly after, I discovered that the cancer had returned, but I didn't want to endure the painful treatments again. Eventually, I returned to Egypt, and after a year of stopping treatment, I made the decision to start again. Slowly, I began to improve. Then the war in Ga.a erupted. I couldnt handle what was happening to my familythe destruction, the overwhelming fear and anxiety, sleepless nights, the loss of homes, and the deaths of loved ones, including my dear friend. So much darkness and pain surrounded me, and no matter how much I try to explain it, you can never feel it as I do. All of this led to a deterioration in my health and the spread of cancer to multiple areas in my body. For the first time, my treatment protocol was changed. I launched a campaign to save my family, and after six months, by the grace of God and the support of ten thousand donors, I succeeded in getting them to safety. But today, I need your support and assistance to regain my strength.

hey Im Paisley mum Paisley is my beautiful fun loving 2 year old baby girl! On the 1st April 2025 Paisley had a little fall while playing, which didnt seem like anything concerning at the time as didnt display any forms of being in any pain or unwell, obviously myself and her dad kept a close eye on her and she was absolutely fine. On the 2nd of April 2025 we woke to find Paisley had huge black blood shot eyes! As you can imagine this rang alarm bells for us. We took Paisley straight to A&E where doctors were also concerned as the fall she had shouldnt have caused these types of injuries. Paisley was then taken for a CT scan to see what was going on inside her head, doctors then said she needed an MRI for further investigation. Me and her dad were obviously filled with worry, a couple of hours later we was pulled in to a side room to be told they had found a Tumour in her stomach and our worlds fell apart but little did we know it was going to get so much more worse. That evening we was blue lighted to Nottingham childrens hospital. This is where Paisley had her bone marrow sampled along with her kidney tissue, MRI, MiGB scan and a CT scan. We were then told the devastating news that Paisley has Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma, a very aggressive and rare childhood cancer with a 50% chance of survival rate. Paisleys primary tumour was found on her adrenal gland with secondary Metastases in the whole circumference of her skull and bone around her eyes, spine, back, hips, ribs arms, legs and chest. Multiple tests were carried out on Paisleys eyes, heart, hearing and kidneys before having a central line (Hickman) inserted to start a chemotherapy regime consisting of 6 high intensive chemotherapy drugs with horrible side effects. As well as suffering the effects of the chemotherapy it self, our beautiful little girl has to under go 8 rounds of rapid cojec chemotherapy the chemotherapy is that strong Paisley lost all her hair after Just after one round Paisley has already undergone 6 rounds and has already had a few bumps along the way. Paisley has this chemotherapy every 10 days so her poor little body doesnt get a chance to rest. She has had numerous bone marrow procedures, blood and platelet transfusions, CT and MRI scans, nuclear MIBG scans, G-CSF injections, and so more more resulting in her having to be put to sleep for these procedures. She has had all this done in such little time so far and will continue to while having treatment She has amazed us all with her resilience and strength, shes never stopped smiling or being her cheeky and mischievous self and making me and her dad so proud every single day just by taking it all in her stride Paisley has already been through so much, and she is nowhere near half way through her treatment. She is yet to still have her surgery to harvest her stem cells and remove the main tumour if possible. further high intensive chemotherapy, stem cell transplant, radiotherapy and immunotherapy its so much and heartbreaking to watch Her treatment is set to last a minimum of 18 months Even after completion of all this intensive treatment and Paisley makes it to remission there is still a very high risk that she could relapse and her cancer could come back which is sadly very common with High Risk Neuroblastoma. Should this happen, paisleys chances of survival would drop drastically to 5-10%. Unfortunately we will not know if paisleys cancer has went into remission until the end of treatments and scans. If she does not manage to get to remission, the treatment options available on the NHS are reduced and often require families to travel to other parts of the UK which they would need to be self funded There are also a number of clinical trials available out of the UK that Paisley could access should her cancer not be cured at the end of treatment which again we would need to self fund. Some of these treatments can be in excess of 250,000. The money that we raise will go towards getting Paisley any treatment she needs, improving her quality of life and supporting her and her family during this time. We as a mother and father want to give Paisley the best chances at beating this awful cancer. Every penny counts. She is a young girl from my neighborhood in Fort Portal Kibiito Town and right now she is suffering from a severe case of Kwashiorkor, which is a dangerous form of malnutrition caused by lack of protein. Her stomach is extremely swollen, her body is weak, and she urgently needs proper medical care, nutrition, and consistent support. I came to know Roberta through the community. She lives just nearby and when I saw her condition I couldnt turn away. I knew I had to try and do something to help. That is why I decided to start this fundraising campaign. My name is Rama, and this is my story. (click here) I am a young woman battling breast cancer in the prime of my life. I was diagnosed during the last trimester of my pregnancy. My doctor decided that I should undergo chemotherapy, assuring me that it would not harm my baby. But fate had other plans for me. I went into early labor in the eighth month, and my beautiful baby girl passed away less than 24 hours after her birth. My husband and I had named her Rama, after the love that brought us together. I couldn't hold her, fearing that my illness might affect her. I was devastated and fell into deep post-traumatic depression. I couldn't bear the pain, convinced that I was the reason for her death. I decided to stop treatment and returned to my hometown in Ga~~. Shortly after, I discovered that the cancer had returned, but I didn't want to endure the painful treatments again. Eventually, I returned to Egypt, and after a year of stopping treatment, I made the decision to start again. Slowly, I began to improve. Then the war in Ga.a erupted. I couldnt handle what was happening to my familythe destruction, the overwhelming fear and anxiety, sleepless nights, the loss of homes, and the deaths of loved ones, including my dear friend. So much darkness and pain surrounded me, and no matter how much I try to explain it, you can never feel it as I do. All of this led to a deterioration in my health and the spread of cancer to multiple areas in my body. For the first time, my treatment protocol was changed. I launched a campaign to save my family, and after six months, by the grace of God and the support of ten thousand donors, I succeeded in getting them to safety. The region i come from is called Teso, located in Eastern and also North Eastern of Uganda, East Africa. From time immemorial, our land tenure system has primarily been customary, where clans own land communally. However with the recent developments and constitutional amendments on land laws and reforms, the customary land tenure is quickly being disorganized. This has led to land grabbings, evictions, family breakups, loss of livelihood and deaths out of the wrangles in the region. This is primarily due to the ignorance of the community people who mostly are uneducated of the land reform laws and succession laws, and therefore there is need to go to the communities, liase with the leaders so as to educate the communities about their rights and also their responsiblities about the various land tenure systems and succession incase of loss of loved ones that owned property.

These stories will be shared through: Personal testimonials: Short videos and written stories featuring the voices of community members sharing their experiences and hopes Illustrating the positive impact the community center could have on individuals and the neighborhood as a whole.

In our community, many families live in difficult circumstances struggling not only to meet their daily needs but also to support their children's education. While the children are eager to learn and grow, they are met with daily obstacles that most students around the world never have to face. The school infrastructure is in dire condition walls are cracked, roofs leak during the rainy season, and classrooms lack proper lighting and ventilation. Many students sit on bare floors, writing on their laps due to the absence of desks. Teaching materials are almost nonexistent. Students share outdated textbooks, use broken pencils, and many cannot afford uniforms or school bags. Teachers are passionate but demoralized, working with little or no teaching aids. Yet, despite all of this, the children show up every day with hope in their eyes and a thirst for knowledge.

Hello brothers and sisters, am from a local community called Mpumudde cell in Eastern Uganda, where the local people are requesting for your assistance in bringing clean water sources closer to them. Currently the local community depends on lake or river water flowing around their community which very unhealthy and contaminated hence leading to easy spread of diseases to the young ones and also the elderly people. These dogs, once beloved companions, now wander aimlessly, having been abandoned or born on the streets. With the increase of rabies cases in recent months, the situation has become a serious public health issue, sparking fear in local residents. Rabies is not just a threat to dogs; it can also be transmitted to humans, making it essential to address this situation. The good news is that change is possible!
