About this campaign
I once had a home in the Khan Yunis camp, a place for my wife and me. But when I was freed, I returned to find it utterly destroyed, reduced to rubble. For the past ten months, I've been living in a tent on the roads of Khan Yunis. This tent has been a witness to the horrors of death โ bombings, bitter cold, scorching heat, gnawing hunger, and relentless disease. The daily struggle to provide for my children is a living hell.
My family, a beautiful and life-loving group of eight, is suffering deeply. My 64-year-old father, who spent his life building our now-lost homes, is retired and his health has plummeted due to the war. He's had multiple heart attacks and desperately needs medication and a cardiac catheterization, which are currently unavailable. My compassionate mother is diabetic, requiring insulin twice daily, and suffers from irregular blood pressure. Treatment is impossible as Israel restricts the entry of medications.
