A Meal. A Smile. A Second Chance.

Every day, as most children rush off to school with a lunchbox and clean clothes, there’s another group of children fighting for survival in silence Uganda’s street kids.

We met Brian, a 9-year-old boy sleeping under a market stall with only a torn shirt to his name. He told us his mother died, and he hadn’t seen his father in over a year. He survives by collecting scrap and begging but most days, he eats nothing.

When we gave him food, he didn’t eat it right away. He first asked, “Can I keep some for my friend?”
That broke us.

No child should ever have to think like that. No child should ever have to suffer like that.

That’s why we started Hands of Hope.

We are a small group with a big mission to feed, clothe, and restore hope to children like Brian. But we can’t do this alone.
