Eye To Heart Foundation Uganda is raising this campaign to restore hope, dignity, and safety to Sauda Nanziri, an abandoned elderly grandmother living in extremely vulnerable conditions in Namayiba Village, Nakisunga Sub-County, Mukono District.
Sauda Nanziri currently resides in a severely dilapidated house that is unsafe and on the verge of collapse, exposing her to rain, cold, and other harsh weather conditions. Each night, she sleeps in fear, uncertain of her safety.
She has no family support, no stable source of income, and no one to care for her daily needs. She lacks access to clean water, sufficient food, proper clothing, and basic healthcare. At her age, these challenges are not just hardships, they are life threatening. What should be a season of rest and care has instead become a daily struggle for survival.
Through this campaign, Eye To Heart Foundation Uganda seeks to construct a safe, permanent, and dignified home for Sauda Nanziri. The funds raised will be used to build the house and to support her basic needs, including access to clean water, food supplies, clothing, and essential healthcare during and after the construction process. All donations will be handled responsibly and transparently to ensure they directly benefit her wellbeing.
The impact of this campaign will be life changing. A secure home will protect grandmother Sauda Nanziri from danger and restore her dignity. Access to basic necessities will improve her health, comfort, and emotional wellbeing. Most importantly, she will no longer feel abandoned or forgotten.
