"Help Mwesige Care Foundation Provide New Mattresses for Orphans and Homeless Children In Uganda

Each day, we welcome orphans and homeless children who have faced unimaginable hardships. Many arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs, carrying stories of loss, abandonment, and resilience. We offer them shelter, education and love but one basic need remains unmet which is a clean, comfortable mattress to sleep on.

Right now, many of our children sleep on worn-out foam, thin mats, or even the bare floor. During Uganda’s rainy seasons, the cold and dampness seep in, making restful sleep nearly impossible. And yet, these children wake up each morning eager to learn, play, and build a better future.

💔 The Reality:
Over 50 children share fewer than 20 usable mattresses.
Some mattresses are torn, moldy, and infested that posing serious health risks.
Lack of proper sleep affects their concentration, growth, and emotional well-being.

💡 Our Goal:
We are raising $3,000 to purchase 75 new mattresses for our children. Each mattress costs approximately UGX 150,000 (about $40 USD). With your help, we can give every child a warm, safe place to rest their head—and even have a few extra for future arrivals.
