About this campaign
Classrooms of Dignity: Ending Mud and Grass Learning Spaces in Kiboga District, Uganda
In Kiboga District, Uganda, hundreds of children attend school in classrooms made of mud walls and grass-thatched roofs. These fragile structures are unsafe and uncomfortable when it rains, lessons are interrupted as water leaks through, and in the dry season, dust fills the air, making learning nearly impossible.
We are raising funds to transform these conditions by building safe, permanent classrooms where children can learn with dignity. With your support, we will replace mud and grass with strong brick walls, solid roofs, and proper desks, creating an environment where every child can thrive.
How the funds will be raised: Through community contributions, local partnerships, and generous donations from individuals and organizations who believe in education.
Impact of your support:
Safe and dignified classrooms that protect children from rain and dust.
Improved learning outcomes as teachers and students focus on education, not the classroom’s condition.
Increased school attendance and retention, especially for girls.
A lasting legacy of hope, pride, and opportunity for the Kiboga community.
Together, we can give children in Kiboga the classrooms they deserve, safe, strong, and filled with opportunity.
