We need your help! Our beloved Jagger, a courageous five- year-old German Shepherd, is battling oral cancer, and the costs of his care are overwhelming. Jagger's story began in hardship. Found roaming the streets of New York, covered in tar and searching for scraps of food, he had endured neglect and abuse. He was taken to a shelter, frightened of everything and everyone, until an animal behaviorist saw his potential and gave him a second chance at life. With love, patience, and care, Jagger transformed into the incredible companion we all adore. He overcame his fears, learned to trust again, and brought endless joy to his family- including his 10 kitty siblings and his Boston Terrier sister, Maggie May. Jagger even worked as a therapy dog for seniors, spreading happiness wherever he went. Now, Jagger is fighting his toughest battle yet. Diagnosed with oral cancer, his treatment has been intensive and costly. Despite the challenges, Jagger continues to show his fighting spirit and love for life. He's still enjoying his meals, taking walks, and spending time with his family, but the medical expenses have become insurmountable. His care includes: Weekly oncologist visits for UV ozone therapy and vitamin C infusions. Acupuncture to manage pain, bleeding, and nausea, which costs over $1,000 weekly. Blood transfusions costing between $1,900 and $4,000 each. Consultations with multiple specialists, including oncologists and dental surgeons. CT scans, biopsies, X-rays, and numerous prescription medications and supplements. We're determined to give Jagger every chance to live a happy and healthy life, but we can't do it alone.
