FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN FOR ROBERTA TREATMENT FOR KWASIOKOR

This is Roberta. She is a young girl from my neighborhood in Fort Portal Kibiito Town and right now she is suffering from a severe case of Kwashiorkor, which is a dangerous form of malnutrition caused by lack of protein. Her stomach is extremely swollen, her body is weak, and she urgently needs proper medical care, nutrition, and consistent support.

I came to know Roberta through the community. She lives just nearby and when I saw her condition I couldnt turn away. I knew I had to try and do something to help. That is why I decided to start this fundraising campaign. Not just for Roberta, but also to help other children in similar situations who are suffering because of poverty, malnutrition, and lack of access to healthcare. There are so many children going through this in silence and we cannot ignore it.

Kwashiorkor is preventable and treatable but many children like Roberta continue to suffer simply because they do not have access to proper food or medical support. Every donation, no matter how small, goes directly to providing high protein foods, medical care, and follow up support. We also use the funds to reach other urgent cases and raise awareness in vulnerable communities.
